SANTA ANA, Cagayan, Feb. 23 (PIA) - - -Around 200 job seekers from nearby municipalities and local residents of Santa Ana trooped to the Municipal Gymnasium here for the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) Anniversary Job Fair today.
Charlotte Collado, CEZA Media Relations head, Cagayan Offices said the job fair is in line with CEZA's mandate and continued efforts to provide job opportunities in Cagayan and to its immediate communities.
The job fair was conducted in simultaneous with the medical and optical mission.
Collado said the job fair was administered by the Labor and Employment Office (LEPO) of CEZA in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Collado added that minimum health standards were observed such as physical distancing and wearing of face masks and job seekers wait for their time to be called for interview.
Among the jobs for local placement that were up for grabs were front desk clerks, hotel supervisor, head waiter, lifeguard, senior structural steel detailer, structural steel checker, office assistant, office housekeeping, waitress, receptionist, customer service representatives, casino cctv operator, and casino card dealers.
Locators of the economic zone which includes Eastern Hawaii Leisure Company Limited, North Cagayan Gaming and Amusement Corporation, IKONA Drafting Services Philippines, Nassim Hotel and Beach Resort, Country Inn Hotel, Pacific Solutions Management Consultancy Services and Cagayan Holiday Leisure & Resort Corporation took part in the Job fair.
