SINGAPORE, April 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Milbank LLP is pleased to announce that Nicholas Dunstone has joined the firm's Singapore office as a partner in the Financial Restructuring Group.

Mr. Dunstone joins Milbank with 25 years of experience as a restructuring specialist in multiple jurisdictions across the globe. His experience includes acting as a legal adviser to the global fund and distressed investing community and serving as a partner in an investment fund.

Mr. Dunstone has built a highly distinguished global practice representing funds and financial institutions in an array of complex situations. He started his career in London representing US hedge funds in European distressed situations, then moved to an Australian firm to establish a market leading practice in Australia representing global distressed investing funds. He then moved to Hong Kong to join an international law firm's Asian restructuring practice.

Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Dunstone was most recently a partner at Asia Research & Capital Management, a leading investment firm in Hong Kong, where he led investment in private and public credit situations, including primary lending, special situations and distressed debt situations across Asia and globally. Mr. Dunstone had a particular focus on energy and infrastructure investments.

Mr. Dunstone received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
